anyway, the next part of the boat ride was to that cave you see on the bottom left of the picture. inside, there’s a big ass cave, but it was sorta of disappointing though, there were so many neon lights it didnt feel so real. it was incredible though, seeing how wide and tall it could be, to see all those stalagmites and stalactites up close when the last time i saw them was in my geography textbook when i was 15.

on the beautifully calm stretch of the river,

the water was serene and clear, there was no other boats but ours and it was just perfect.

while waiting for the rest to come down from lunch, we decided to get a little wet since it was hot hot hot!

so after the intense cave experience, they rangers stopped for lunch and invited us to join them. thank God they had cup noodles with halal signs! and they were eating those prawns they caught from the river and let us have a plate of them! they were just boiled and it was real good and sweet together with the salty sort or paste they served with.

we were given a brief on the first week of school last week to come up with a collection for d.lab.

i’ve been busy with school so much hence the lack of photos. i’ll try my best but i dont want to post when i dont have the mood to..

man i havnt posted in a week and now school has started.. last week was a great ending to a holiday, faiz got us a bungalow from his dad near the beach and we were there almost the whole of the week, playing games, eating, soccer and just good ol fun..

it has been a memorable year, just like 2010 or 2009 and so on. probably the most memorable thing this year would be the 2 months of backpacking back during the summer holidays. Alhamdulillah, Praise to God for everything, for my family and friends, the countless, countless blessings, and really everything. Alhamdulillah..

this will be the last week of holidays before school starts and it had been an awesome break. i only went malaysia for a week and spent the rest with family and especially my friends for the many soccer sessions and lepak sessions almost everyday hahahah and i will definitely miss this man.. when school starts, BAMM.. all these free times will be gone…

so to make school a little bit more bearable, we are planning a trip to china during summer. and so we bought the tickets to tianjin (a city near beijing) yesterday on this date, 080612.

initially we planned to do a china to pakistan thing but it was tough, so this will do, a month and a half long trip to china where we plan to travel to around a few of the major cities in china and hopefully mongolia or even maybe russia? we’ll see, we’ve got 6 months to plan and i cant wait already!

if you’ve always been wanting to go somewhere, especially southeast asia, just go, dont think so much about this or that or whatever that’s making you think “maybe next time” or things like that. the tickets now are pretty cheap really so i suggest you get your tickets now and the planning could be done later.

trust me, be a ‘yes man’.

the countdown begins, 6 months and 6 days.

we wanted to before but didnt know if it was possible.. we asked the ranger and he said it was definitely fine! hahah we thought that it would be prohibited or something..

he was one of the only one who could speak english, and invited us to some lunch where they had prawns from the river boiled which we ate with some sweet/salty paste which was really good..
