the travel agency shop opened after a few hours,

it was operated by a couple, the wife was very friendly though she couldnt speak english and she was pregnant. the husband could speak veeeeeeryyyyy little english. we told him where we wanted to go but he didnt really understand. they had a computer so we tried showing them the nat geo website but he said that we couldnt go there or something, that it was a protected by the government, something like that.

he gave us a brochure of the places to go and they didnt look interesting at all. i mean, you’re already at a place which has the biggest cave in the world, so the rest didnt look very interesting. we were quite torn on what to do.

me and ebrahim went out to look for hostels or any place that we could stay so we walked down the road for maybe about 10 minutes until we saw a pack of dogs and we headed back. hahaha. really. im scared of dogs. i was chased by one in cambodia but i’ll tell that once we reach there! and faiz was also chased by one in thailand! hahaha.

ok so finally we chose the one that looked the most interesting. we went online to look at the pictures at it was really nice. the caves didnt have any rainbow neon lights that ruin the natural beauty of the caves so we chose to go there.

the thing that was frustrating us was no because of his little english, but because he was trying to overcharge us. at first we were thinking of doing a days tour of the stuff in the brochure but he was charging tooo much. so we decided to just choose one location and see whats there.

we didnt know if the place had accommodation or not, how its going to be but we just decided to just pay for a one way trip to the place. two way was expensive and we didnt wanna go back to this place where there’s nothing really. we haggled and haggled and i think finally he just gave in. we didnt have any schedule to follow so we could have done it all day long and it would still be ok.

after a couple more hours there, the car arrived and we got on, not knowing where exactly we were, what to expect and what we’re going to do next.

we drove through the country side, the roads were empty and it was really nice.
